We offer the following options:
Multiple Tier 1 ISPs as standard
By combining services from multiple Tier 1 ISPs, we deliver a highly resilient internet sevice that guarantees the fastest connection available at any location. And because it operates on multiple networks, there's no single point of failure – meaning if one route goes down, the data simply takes another, and you experience no loss of service.
Choose contended or uncontended
An uncontended – or dedicated – connection provides the full quoted download and upload speeds at all times, along with a detailed SLA for pre-agreed quality of service, reliability and maintenance.
A contended connection has varying speeds, depending on how many other users are also connected, with the speed decreasing the further you are from the cabinet.
Uncontended connections cost more, but could save you significant time – and therefore money.
ADSL broadband uses BT lines for fast installation and maximum availability. A contended connection capable of 2Mbps – 20 Mbps speeds, it's best suited to home offices, small satellite sites and small businesses as the main the internet connection.
For larger businesses, ADSL is perfect as a fail over, PDQ machines EPOS machine, franking machines or as a dedicated CCTV or fire alarm connection.
ADSL broadband provides flexibility, availability and quick installation, thanks to the service using the same wires as a fixed BT telephone line. ADSL broadband is suited to home office, small satellite sites and small businesses as the main internet connection.
Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC)
FTTC uses BT fixed phone lines, just like ADSL, but can reach speeds of between 19 Mbps and 76 Mbps. It is less available than ADSL, as it requires an infrastructure upgrade, but an estimated 80% of the UK now has access to FTTC connections.
Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM)
EFM delivers speeds of up to 20 Mbps on an uncontended copper circuit, for faster and more reliable speeds than broadband, at a lower cost than Dedicated Ethernet. Ideal for businesses making the move to SIP, VoIP and Cloud services.
Dedicated Fibre Ethernet gives you a private fibre line for the ultimate in flexibility, scalability, speed and security – backed by our industry leading SLA of 99.9% uptime.
Bandwidth is bought in 10Mbps increments for up to 100Mbps, and 100Mbps up to 10Gbps on a physically separate fibre line. It can be extended to form LANs and WANs. It can support the most demanding requirements of the biggest businesses – for truly 24/7 operation of ERP, CRM, logistics and trading systems.
Multiprotocal Label Switching (MPLS)
MPLS delivers fast, reliable connectivity to connect geographically dispersed sites across the UK and the globe. Easily upgradable, MPLS provides endless flexibility in supporting prioritised Data, Voice, Video, VoIP and Video Conferencing for multi-location and multinational businesses.
