Following the government briefing on 31st October, I wanted to explain how we anticipate the forthcoming additional restrictions will impact the delivery of Immervox processes and services.
We have already held discussions with our third party suppliers and, while the situation remains changeable, I wanted to confirm that as things stand, we will continue to provision all of our services throughout this uncertain period.
While circuits relating to Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) will continue to take priority, unlike during the initial lockdown in March 2020, sufficient PPE and safety protocols are already in place. This means that we can ensure any non-CNI services are also provisioned. However, for this to happen, customer site access needs to be available for engineer visits, and engineers must be able to operate under socially distanced conditions on site.
The Immervox Provisioning team will write to you upon each open order to confirm the status of the customer site and whether engineer visits can be accommodated post 5th November. We want to prioritise the genuinely urgent and active projects and ensure that they are delivered promptly.
We expect that both the Immervox support function, and the support function of our third party suppliers will continue to operate as usual throughout this period.
It is likely that the situation will remain fluid and, as ever, we will stay close to any changes or updates that may impact you and communicate them in a timely fashion.
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
Colin Nobbs
Service and Operations Manager
