Last week, our team we’re out exhibiting at The North Essex Expo in Colchester. This was a great opportunity for us to step out from behind the screen and meet various local business professionals currently shaping the industry.
For us, the expo was a chance to share what Immervox does, understand what Essex businesses are prioritising right now, and build strong relationships. We spoke to lots of businesses, public-sector bodies, educators, and community organisations who are all working toward shared outcomes.
Exhibiting on the day
Mat, Freddie and Thomas attended the expo, meeting attendees and representing Immervox throughout the event. With a stand in front of the stage, we had strong visibility and a steady flow of visitors, enabling us to host lots of engaging conversations. Our stand gave us enough space to welcome people in, introduce Immervox properly, demonstrate our equipment and talk through the kinds of problems we help organisations solve.
On display we had a comms cabinet featuring a typical connectivity set-up with a router, switch, failover and patch panel, as well as a high-performance WiFi access point and a VoIP phone system.
Across the expo, Mat, Freddie and Thomas spent time hosting conversations with a wide range of attendees, from local business owners to representatives from Essex organisations looking for partners they can trust.
These face-to-face conversations are valuable because they surface real ideas, helping us understand what an organisation or individual wants to achieve, why it matters, who it impacts, and what problems they’re currently navigating.
What we’re taking forward
The most important outcome of the expo was new, quality connections. The event created valuable time to connect with Essex organisations and business leaders, share ideas, learn what the community is up to and strengthen our network across the region.
We’re grateful to everyone who visited the stand and took the time to connect. We’re looking forward to continuing those conversations as we attend more networking events across the region.
