At Immervox, we understand how challenging it can be to find time in your busy schedule to connect with like-minded business professionals. With back-to-back meetings and ongoing customer support, balancing outreach while managing current business demands can be quite difficult.
To address this, we decided to create an opportunity for connection. With ample space in our office kitchen, we thought it would be an ideal setting to welcome local professionals from the business community and beyond.
On Wednesday, 8th July, we opened our doors, laid out an array of food, and readied our business cards for meaningful conversations. We welcomed local individuals who share similar goals to connect with new people and foster valuable business relationships over a light lunch, all while minimising the disruption to their busy day.
Alongside enjoying good food and conversation, our experts shared crucial insights regarding the PSTN switch-off and its implications for businesses across the UK. As the old copper lines are phased out, migrating to newer, more reliable services is now more critical than ever.
Our team provided attendees with guidance on the next steps for transitioning to IP-based lines, including actionable steps and clearly outlined plans.
Overall, the day was a success. We generated several meaningful connections, raised awareness of the PSTN switch-off, and engaged the community over lunch, all without consuming too much time.
